The Cairo Spa Hotel, a five star resort in Cairo, Egypt, is developed on a strong central axis of water courts which are integrated into the architecture design. The design is an interpretation of ancient Egyptian symbols lending each court its own unique theme and identity. An oasis is created within the interior walls of the project yet the landscape courts and water features are designed with respect for the surrounding desert environment using indigenous plants, local stone materials and xeriscape techniques. The blending of the historical motifs with a clean, modern style creates a unique world class resort.
